Puppies are so cute, but they can grow into big poorly mannered dogs.
Don’t want for that to happen to you.

My name is Tom Savoca. My parent’s raised German Shepherd Showdogs. I grew up with German Shepherds from the time I was four, until I moved out of the house. I got my first German Shepherd Puppy (as an adult) in 2011. Coco was a 2 or 3 month old puppy who was loose on the streets of Miami, FL. Since she was a rescue we were never sure of her exact age.
I have been involved in Therapy Dog activities since 2014. I started with AAT with the Broward Human Society for only a month. Then I went to Canine Assisted Therapy (CAT) in Oakland Park for a few years. After CAT, I joined Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ADT) where I am now (2020).

In 2018 I joined a Christian Therapy Organization called Canine’s for Christ so I can do more Christian Ministry Oriented Therapy Dog activities.
Puppy training can be an effective way to establish a strong bond with your pup. During puppy training, owners can learn how to reward desired behaviors and discourage unwanted ones. This helps owners better understand their pup’s behavior and respond approperately. Additionally, puppy training provides puppy parents with the opportunity to set rules and create consistency early on, which can help prevent any unwanted behaviors in the future.
